Nexus Norwest - HistoryConstruction of Nexus Norwest commenced in October 2006 and was completed in early 2008. Nexus Norwest is 9,500m2 commercial office building across seven floors. Developed by Capital Corporation and built by Watpac, almost all business suites were sold before completion or very soon thereafter, reflecting tremendous interest in the developer's latest premium offering. The property has also been popular with investors and most of those investors have been able to achieve very early take up of their properties.
The Nexus Norwest building was officially opened by Clr Sonya Philips, Mayor of Baulkham Hills Council on 18 April 2008 in front of an audience of approximately 150 owners, tenants, Councillors, agents and the press, as well as members of the teams of contractors involved in the construction of the building.
Nexus Norwest - FeaturesNexus Norwest represents the new age in commercial strata development. The building has been fitted out with an integrated managed network and advanced internet protocol telephony system from Cisco. Tenants are able to quickly set up their own secure network. In fact, tenants can choose to outsource the entire provisioning of a managed data network or choose a bespoke solution. By taking advantage of the systems and technology built in to the building, a tenant moving in to Nexus can be set up and ready to go with a minimum of time and fuss. In addition, many tenants are finding the systems available in the building much more cost effective than sourcing their own providers. Basically, Nexus allows smaller businesses to take advantage of the facilities generally only available to much more substantial businesses at relatively low cost. The building also has a gymnasium, Focus Health & Fitness, which has already become very popular with building tenants. A concierge at reception is available to assist guests to the building to tenants' suites, manage bookings of the communal meeting rooms and deal with day to day enquiries from tenants and guests. The building foyer features its own business lounge where tenants are welcome to conduct informal business. There are also meeting rooms with IT facilities available for tenants to use for meetings. Servcorp is also a major tenant of the building and offers a range of serviced office solutions to tenants of the building as well as those from outside the building requiring serviced office space. Nexus Norwest - LocationNexus is located at 4 Columbia Court in Norwest Business Park just off the round- about where Columbia Court meets Norwest Boulevarde, opposite the Crowne Plaza hotel and within very easy walking distance of cafes, waterfront restaurants, the post office, all major banks, the shopping centre and child care facilities. The Castle Hill Country Club is only one street away.
Norwest Business Park is a 377-hectare development in Baulkham Hills/Bella Vista in Sydney's northwest suburbs, with excellent links via the M2 and M7 motorways to the Sydney CBD and airport, as well as the industrial and distribution hubs in Sydney's western suburbs. Norwest is home to a number of Australia's leading companies, including the headquarters for Woolworths and ResMed.
